Fall Activities Update

As we head into October, the activities here at Diller-Odell are in full swing.   Volleyball and football seasons are half over, softball postseason starts in a couple weeks, FFA had students competing at a State Competition,  FBLA has been to their annual Fall Leadership Conference. The band has marched at the Richardson County Fair and One-Act is beginning practices for their season.  I am very proud of our students and how they have been representing our school in extra-curricular activities.

It is great that we have so many students involved in these activities.  There have been many studies linking academic success with participation in Education Based Activities and Athletics.  Personally, I believe the lessons learned about hard-work, teamwork, time management and striving to improve, are equally important.
