The transition from Odell High School to Diller-Odell High School was something I was a part of.  Because athletics was so important to me and because we had a sports co-op situation with Diller, I was very happy to have the schools become one.  Thanks to the hard work of teachers, administrators, students and people from both communities, the merger worked and the high quality of education we had enjoyed as separate schools continues.

I was the beneficiary of that high quality of education and of the instruction from teachers who took their jobs very seriously.  John Kennedy said we should take time to thank people for their help and generosity.  Thank you to everyone that was and is a part of Diller-Odell.

My wife Jenna, my daughter Brinn and I live in Columbus, Ohio.  Jenna is a dentist and works at a practice while keeping house, tending a huge garden and raising our daughter, nine months old.  I am in the third year of a five year orthopedic surgery residency.  Again, I am the beneficiary of the dedication and talent of many health care professionals.
