I started my teaching career in 1996 at Odell Public Schools and then began teaching at Diller-Odell Public Schools in 2000. I taught fourth grade until 2015. Then in the fall of 2015, I began teaching second grade. I love my job teaching students at Diller-Odell Elementary!

I serve on the Safety Committee. I am a Crisis Team member and DOEA member.

Education: BS in Elementary Education from Chadron State College. Graduate hours from College of Saint Mary, Chadron, and UNO.

I am married to Tim Hynek. We have two daughters, Abby and Kate. We love attending sporting events and spending time together as a family.
