FFA Members Compete at District Leadership Development Event

On January 16th, 2019, 23 FFA members competed at district leadership development events (LDE’s) in York Nebraska at The Holthus Convention Center.  This was a fun day with multiple events for multiple students. Events ranged from individual speeches to team events such as Ag Demonstration over topics such as: Aquaculture-Processing Shrimp to Ear Notching and a Parliamentary Procedure.  It was very competitive and members represented the chapter well in all their events. Congrats to Madeline Swanson who will be representing the chapter at the State Convention in Natural Resource Speaking contest in April. Also congratulations to Maddy Yocum and Tucker Martin on making it to the finalist rounds at district competitions.  Results are posted as followed.
