Students Attend Sportsmanship and Leadership Summit

These eight students, Coach McMurray, and Mr. Mezger attended the Sportsmanship and Leadership Summit at Lincoln Northstar.  Throughout the day the group listened to many different speakers from Proactive Coaching, Nebraska Army National Guard, StrivTV, and NSAA board members.  The topics that were discussed were "Be different, Be Noticeable, Be Appealing," "Mental toughness," "Sportsmanship - Respect Authority & Opponents," and "Social Media Interaction" just to name a few.  The students also got time to do some breakout sessions and to work with their own school group to develop things to bring back to their peers.  The students learned some new ideas to bring back to their Griffin peers and help develop more leadership throughout the building and school.
