Griffin Sports
Last week was a time of many lasts for Griffin sports. It was the last home game for the volleyball team. It was also senior night, where senior Kirsten Bures was honored. The team played the Southern Raiders and was able to come away with a stunning win. In sub-districts play, the Griffins defeated HTRS but fell in a close match to Johnson Brock. We hope to see many people there to support the Griffins as they continue their season! Another last for Griffin sports was, unfortunately, the last football game. The Diller-Odell football team played a playoff game against the Osmond Tigers. After making the 3 and a half hour trek, the boys started off strong, beginning the game 16-0. Sadly, the Tigers struck back. While the boys fought hard to the end, they lost the game 30-40, ending their 2018 season. Even though it may not have ended as they hoped, the football team still had a great year. Congratulations on a successful season, Griffins!
