Junior High Students Compete at Jefferson County Spelling Bee

Nine junior high Griffin students competed at the Jefferson County Spelling Bee on Feb.5. The contest was held at Diller Elementary with students from Fairbury, Tri-County, Meridian and St. Paul's Lutheran School participating. A student from Fairbury won the contest. Representatives from Diller-Odell's Junior High included: Tavy Hickey, Karli Heidemann, Elecea Saathoff, Mallory Denner, Madelyn Meyerle, Adrien Ficke, Rachel Stanosheck, Kennedy Belknap, and Allison Engelman.
