2017 ESU 5 Summer Science Camp
On June 1st and 2nd students in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade participated at the ESU 5 Summer Science Camp which was held this year at Southern Elementary. Twenty-four students from Diller-Odell participated at this camp along with around 25 Southern students. This years theme was dealing with air. Each day there were four different sessions that the students worked in. Sessions included building a car that would save an egg from an Evil Kenevil jump, played some robot soccer, building a catapult and tower, wind racers, parachute jumpers, and marshmallow shooters. The students ended the day with making smores in outdoor tinfoil ovens. It was a great 2 days. Thank you Southern for hosting this event.
