Lady Griffins are State Bound

The Lady Griffins Basketball team has had a quite a successful season so far.
The team went through a rough patch in the middle of the season but, since then,
has continued the season very impressively. The first big accomplishment of the
season was the Pioneer Conference Title against Falls City Sacred Heart. Shortly
after the conference tournament was postseason play. The Griffins defeated HTRS
and Southern in Sub district rounds at Fairbury. After the win against Southern they
were set to play Elmwood Murdock in the District Final. The Lady Griffin Basketball
team played a tough game but came through with a 44-35 win against the Knights
and qualified for the Nebraska State Basketball Tournament. The team is ready to
take on a tough fight for a State title this week.
