O'Hana Kids' News is an on-line newsletter that was started by Josh and Heather Ackman, when they were looking for events and activities for their son to participate in. Zephaniah, is in a wheelchair, due to his terminal condition of Menkes Syndrome. O'Hana Kids' Hews was founded in 2010 when the Ackmans realized that many families were looking for the same information for their children.
O'Hana Kids' News covers the entire state of Nebraska. It shares information with over 100 agencies across the state, including schools, preschools, therapy centers and so much more. All of whom have services for kids with special needs. There are 2 editions, Eastern NE and Central/Western NE. The Eastern edition covers Washington, Dodge, Saunders, Douglas, Sarpy, Cass, Otoe, Lancaster, Johnson, Nemaha, Pawnee, Gage, Jefferson and Saline. The Central and Western edition covers all the rest of the counties in Nebraska. All editions can be downloaded or printed out for yourself.
