I have been a teacher in the Diller-Odell School District for 21 years. I have loved every minute of it! The communities are hard working and the students have an excellent work ethic and strive to do their best!
I was born at and grew up in the Hanover, Kansas area. I graduated from Hanover High School with plans to Major In K-12 Art Education. I attended Cloud County Community College on an Art Scholarship and received my Bachelors of Science Degree as an Art Educator from Kansas State University. I have graduate hours from the University of Nebraska, Peru State College, and Doane College.
I am married to Donald Klecan and we have four children, Donald P. Klecan, Kristy Beard, Danielle Friesen, and Brian Klecan. Kristy is married to Jay Beard and lives in Tallahassee, Florida. Danielle is married to Travis Friesen and lives in Lincoln, NE. Don and I have been married for 32 years and have lived our entire married life around the Odell and Diller, NE area.
