Mrs. Janel Hynek
I started my teaching career in 1996 at Odell Public School. Throughout my years of teaching, I have always taught fourth grade. I have been a Reading Classic coach since 1997. Our highlight was being state runner-up in 2005 and 2008. I love my job teaching students at Diller-Odell Elementary!
I serve as Box Tops coordinator and Campbell's Labels coordinator. I am a Crisis Team member and DOEA member.
Education: BS in Elementary Education from Chadron State College. Graduate hours from College of Saint Mary, Chadron, and UNO.
I am married to Tim Hynek. We have two daughters, Abby and Kate. We like to spend time as a family playing, going to the park, going on bike rides, and watching sporting events.
