What classes do you teach? Social Studies/ History
Why did you decide to become a teacher? I had good, positive role models who were teachers when I was growing up. Also, I enjoy working with young people.
What activities do you sponsor? Currently, High School and Jr. High Head Girls Basketball Coach - Formally, Head High School Track Coach (7 years), Assistant Boys Basketball Coach (5 years) and Sponsor for the Class of 2006.
How long have you been teaching? I started formally teaching in the fall of 1997
How long have you been teaching at Diller-Odell? I have been at Diller-Odell since the fall of 2000
What are your interests/hobbies? I enjoy participating in various sporting activities (especially fishing), and collecting sports memorabilia. Also, reading about or visiting historical events/places is something I like to do. Plus, doing activities with my wife and two boys is how I spend a lot of time.

What is your favorite thing about teaching? Interacting with students and, hopefully, being a positive role model. Being able to share life's experiences with students is rewarding.
