Barbara Vitosh
I began my teaching career in the Rising City Public School after graduating from Kearney State College in 1974 with a Bachelor's degree. I taught first grade there for five years, and then was a stay-at-home mom for six years. In 1985 I went to work as the fifth grade teacher at Odell Public School.
I currently teach fifth grade in the Diller-Odell Public Schools. I have endorsements in Early Childhood Education and in Gifted Education. I am a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, which is a sorority of current and retired teachers in Gage County.
My husband, Darrell, and I have three adult children. Both of our sons are high school math teachers, one at Falls City Public School and the other at Norris Public School. Our daughter is a business consultant for a human resource firm in Lincoln. We also have four grandchildren.
I enjoy reading, gardening, playing with the grandchildren, and traveling to historic destinations.
