Introduction: I am currently the District Superintendent of Diller-Odell Public Schools. I began teaching math and coaching in Odell in the fall of 1981, served as the high school principal from August of 2000 through the spring of 2007, and still serve in many technology, assessment and reporting capacities for the district.
My wife, Barb, teaches fifth grade. We have two sons, Jason and Jared, and a daughter Kate. Jason, his wife Stacey, and their three children Leslie, Will, and Emily live in Falls City. Jason teaches and coaches at the public high school and Stacey is the head teacher at the pre school. Kate, her husband Brandon, their sons Mason and Kellen live Friend. Kate works for KENEXA in Lincoln, while Brandon works for Mycogen Seeds in York. Jared and his wife Jenna live in Lincoln. He is a math teacher at Norris High School and Jenna is working toward her Masters in Architecture at UNL.
I am a 1970 high school graduate of Odell High School and have received a Bachelors degree from Kearney State, a Masters of Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska � Kearney, and a Specialist Certificate from the University of Nebraska � Lincoln. I am enjoying my 35th year as an educator.
Hobbies include golf and cheering for the Griffins, Huskers, Cubs, Bears, and Yankees. Leisure time is enjoyed with family. Grand parenting is cool too!
