Name:  Cathy Lyons

Duties:  Special Education Teacher 7-12

Introduction:  I began teaching in Diller Community Schools as a First Grade teacher in 1984. In 1999, I began working as a Special Education Teacher. When Diller-Odell School came into being, I continued as Special Education Teacher.

I have, in my career, served as assistant girls’ basketball coach, assistant volleyball coach, bookkeeper for boys and girls basketball and junior class sponsor. Currently my husband, Jim, and I help the sophomore class put on a car show in June to raise funds for prom essentials. Our summers are spent fishing and taking our classic Chevy cars to weekend car shows.
